Dance is a wonderful form of exercise, building physical strength, flexibilty and good deportment. Along with all the physical benefits, dance develops musicality and self discipline. We take care to try to promote each pupil’s confidence and self esteem. Lasting friendships are made outside of normal school. We follow the ISTD syllabus in ballet, modern and tap and work towards exams. However exams are not compulsory and children are given the option of moving into the next grade if they do not wish to take an exam. Exam entrance is at the discretion of the teacher.
